WHAT IS SAFETY HAZARD

  • Safety hazards are unsafe working conditions that can cause injury, illness, and death.

SAFETY HAZARDS FOR GAS APPLIANCES


If gas appliances, such as ovens, cookers, and boilers, are not properly installed and maintained, there is a danger of fire, explosion, gas leaks, and carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning

-If a customer said that it smells burnt, there is a gas leak, there is a short circuit when plugged in the item, DO NOT ask for any proof, raise the issue as soon as possible with your respective team leaders/ SME


SAFETY HAZARDS FOR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES


Electric shock and burns from contact with live parts.

Injury from exposure to arcing, fire from faulty electrical equipment or installations.

An explosion caused by unsuitable electrical apparatus or static electricity igniting flammable vapors or dust.

-If a customer said that it smells burnt, there is a short circuit when plugged in the item, an electrode, DO NOT ask for any proof, raise the issue as soon as possible with your respective team leaders/ SME
