Detail: Shipping Fee Not Right (PO Box Address)

Suggested Template: Residential Address Needed


This system event is usually a result of a PO Box address which is not valid for orders with TIG (Toll IPEC) or Fastway as couriers.

Usually, the shipping cost shows an unusual amount like a negative value and order status is in processing.

Procedures:


  • Step 1: Determine the order origin (if it is from eBay or Crazysales).

Mostly, this kind of system event happens to eBay orders.

  • Step 2: Send an address update notice to ask for a correct/valid address.

For orders from Crazysales, create a New Ticket in Kayako. On the other hand, for eBay orders:

Copy the eBay User ID:

Go to eBay Backend and search Buyer ID :

Click the User ID:

Click “Contact”:

Select the correct item ordered by the customer:

Before sending your message, check "Send a copy to my email address" to get a copy of the email you sent.

  • Step 3: Send your message to the buyer. Then go back to CS Backend to put note, and change orders status into “On hold”:

  • Step 4: Click “Finish”.

REMINDER:
Remember to check if the total amount will changes after an address is provided. Process refund for extra  payment or 
ask for additional payment if there is a shortfall.
