How to pay order (eBay)
- No Pending Order
After committing to buy an item using "Buy It Now" option, just proceed to checkout. If you just added the item to your cart, click on "Pay Now" button next to the item. If the "Pay Now" button is not available, select "Proceed to checkout". Please note that the request for postage option is not available in the eBay App or mobile site. We highly suggest that you use a desktop or laptop when placing an order.
When you check out and pay, make sure to verify or change your delivery address. If your PayPal account is linked with your eBay account, you'll just confirm and pay. If it's not linked or if you don't have a PayPal account, you can select another payment method, such as a credit or debit card. You'll then confirm your order details and pay through PayPal guest checkout.
If you're having trouble paying for an item, check your PayPal information, debit or credit card details, and the email address registered to your eBay account. If any of these are incorrect, you may have to update them before you can pay.
- Pay using eBay checkout
To pay for an item using eBay checkout:
1. Select "Pay Now" (or Proceed to checkout, from your cart).
2. Select a payment method. If your PayPal account is linked with your eBay account, you'll just confirm and pay.
3. Check your postage information. To correct or update anything or select a different address, use the "Change" link.
4. Review your order, including postage. Remove any item(s) you don't want to pay for yet.
5. If you're using a PayPal voucher or eBay discount code, enter the redemption code and select "Apply".
6. For PayPal and credit card payments, select "Confirm" and pay on the right of the page. You'll receive an email confirming receipt of your payment and letting you know when your item will be sent.
- Pay after we sent Invoice
We have sent you an updated invoice for this item via eBay. You can now make the payment. Please check your eBay account/inbox. To pay:
1. Click on "Pay Now".
2. Select a payment method. If your PayPal account is linked with your eBay account, you'll just confirm and pay.
3. Check your postage information. To correct or update anything or select a different address, use the Change link.
4. Review your order, including postage. Remove any item(s) you don't want to pay for yet.
5. If you're using a PayPal voucher or eBay discount code, enter the redemption code and select Apply.
6. For PayPal and credit card payments, select Confirm and pay on the right of the page. You'll receive an email confirming receipt of your payment and letting you know when your item will be sent.
- Pay with Credit or Debit card
If your card is linked to your PayPal account:
1. Select Pay Now (or Proceed to checkout, from your cart).
2. Select pay with PayPal at checkout.
3. Select the card you'd like to pay with.
4. Select Continue to complete your purchase.
If you don’t have a PayPal account, or your card isn’t linked:
1. Select Pay Now (or Proceed to checkout, from your cart).
2. Select the option to pay with a credit card at checkout.
3. Enter your payment information. If you want us to save your credit or debit card information so you don't have to enter it every time, check the box to Save this card to eBay.
4. Select Continue to complete your purchase. If you want to link a credit or debit card to your PayPal account, go to your wallet on paypal.com and link a card.
- How to pay with Afterpay
If Afterpay is available for your eBay purchase, you'll see it as a payment option at checkout. If you don't already have an Afterpay account, you'll be prompted to create one.
Here's how to pay with Afterpay on eBay:
1. At checkout, select Afterpay from the list of payment methods.
2. Review your order and delivery details, then select Pay with Afterpay.
3. Sign in to your Afterpay account, or sign up.
4. Review your instalment plan and payment details with Afterpay.
5. Select Continue to place your order.
If you're using a voucher or an eBay gift card, you can still use Afterpay. Make sure you enter the redemption code(s) and select Apply before finalising your order.
