If the first payment is higher, this is due to the credit limit on the customers account.

Laybuy doesnt restrict the amount you can spend however if you exceed your limit, you are required to pay the excess on day 1. This will only ever occur when the total purchase price of your items exceeds your limit.

How it works on Trade Me:

1. Use "Buy Now" or win an auction.

2.Select "Afterpay" as your payment option.

3.You'll be taken to Afterpay's website.
