Handling Out of Stock Order in Temu (Unshipped)

  • To cancel and refund an unshipped order in Temu due to being out of stock, first you have to copy the Temu Order ID which starts with 'PO' from the CS Backend.

  • Then go to Seller Center page in Temu, click Orders, select Manage Orders and search for the order using the Temu Order ID.

  • When the order appears, click on the Temu Order ID to view the order.

  • You will be redirected to the order page. Then click on Request to cancel the order.

  • Select Mark as out of stock on the Reasons for cancellation section, then mark the product that is out of stock and click Submit. Note: If the order has multiple items, only mark the product that is out of stock.

  • Click Proceed.

  • Click Continue.

  • Once done, the order will be marked with The seller requested to cancel the order because of lack of stock on the Order status history.

  • Cancel the order in CS Backend and log a refund request.
