Step 1. Track the parcel and check the reason for return.

  • Check if the parcel was returned to sender due to incorrect/incomplete address, failed attempted delivery, or buyer failed to collect from LPO.
    If the return was due to courier's error or an error on our end (like if we incorrectly updated the address), buyer should not be charged for a re-delivery fee.


Step 2. Inform Woolworths about the returned parcel including the reason, and confirm the buyer's delivery address.

  • Sample:
    Please be advised that the parcel has been returned to sender (us) due to incorrect address. In this case, please confirm the buyer's delivery address and if they want us to process a re-delivery. Thank you!


Step 3. If the buyer opted for a re-delivery, advise Woolworths to ask buyer to pay the re-delivery fee.

  • Sample:
    We understand that the buyer wants us to resend the item. In this case, kindly ask them to pay the re-delivery fee of $xxx. Once the payment is confirmed, we will resend the item as soon as possible. Thank you!


Step 4. Once payment is confirmed by Woolworths, create a resend order in RMA and ensure to put the correct/complete delivery address.

  • Sample:
    Thank you for confirming that the buyer has paid the re-delivery fee. In this case, we will now process the resend order. Kindly allow 1-2 business days for it to be dispatched and another xxx business days for the delivery. Thank you!
