This system event is related to “Shipping Fee Not Right (PO Box Address)” but in this case, postage/shipping cost shows a negative value.
This error is caused mainly by an invalid postcode which means that our courier does not support delivery to that location. This can be discovered by calculating the postage cost on the product listing, both in Crazysales and eBay. If the postage cost is not available, it means that our courier does not support delivery to that location.
Procedures:
- Step 1: Determine the origin of the order (if it is ordered via eBay or Crazysales).
- Step 2: Send a message to the buyer to inform him/her about the issue and ask for an alternative address.
- Step 3: Put a note on the order.
- Step 4: Make sure that the order status is changed from “Processing” into “On Hold”.
- Step 5: Click “Finish” to end the system event.
REMINDERS: Once the buyer provides a new address, there is a chance that the postage cost will be changed. Ask for payment for shortfall or refund extra payment.
